• Must be BNMC Registered

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in Operation Theatre (OT)
• Applicants should have experience in the following business areas: Hospital
• Healthcare Center, Surgical Clinic

Additional Requirements:

• Experience in Operation Theatre (OT) procedures and patient preparation
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Ability to assist surgeons during operations
• Strong patient care and monitoring skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in emergency surgical situations
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel)

Responsibilities & Context

Aurora Specialized Hospital is seeking a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse for the Operation Theatre (OT) Department who will be responsible for assisting surgical teams, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining OT protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Operation Theatre, instruments, and equipment before surgery.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures.
• Ensure proper sterilization and infection control in OT.
• Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.
• Manage OT instruments and surgical supplies.
• Ensure OT cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and support staff for smooth surgical operations.
• Participate in training, workshops, and quality improvement programs.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality.
