Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Dialysis Unit of a reputed hospital.

Skills

• Sound knowledge of hemodialysis procedures and patient care.

• Ability to operate dialysis machines and related equipment.

• Skilled in-patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation.

• Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.

• Strong communication and counseling skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage emergency situations.

• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.

Additional Requirements

• Prior experience in a dialysis unit is highly preferred.

• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.

• Prepare and operate dialysis machines according to established protocols.

• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.

• Assess and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment outcomes.

• Ensure infection control and patient safety standards are maintained.

• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.

• Assist nephrologists and other healthcare professionals during patient care.

• Educate patients and family members regarding dialysis treatment and self-care.

• Maintain accurate nursing records and dialysis documentation.

• Supervise and support junior nursing staff within the dialysis unit.
