∎ Working experience in SCANU unit will be treated as an advantage.
∎ Have valid registration from Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for closely observing patients, specially SCANU/NICU unit, noting specific procedures and prescribed medication for each case.
∎ Handle SCANU unit patients & educating and guiding parents on caring for their baby.
∎ Handle Incubators, Phototherapy Machines and Monitoring vital signs, oxygen levels, and other critical levels.
∎ Able to perform diagnostic tests and able to maintain patient records and Coordinating care plans with other NICU staff and with the neonatologist, the doctor in charge of the infant's care.
∎ Assisting doctors in providing physical assessments and administering treatments; Documenting patient condition and all interventions.
∎ Monitoring vital signs and ensuring the proper functions of feeding tubes, ventilators, catheters, and other life support equipment.
∎ Attending to the patient's overall needs, such as feeding, bathing and grooming, dressing replacement, medication intake, and comfort.
∎ Able to work efficiently with other practical nurses and nursing assistants in the ICU ward and be able to provide clear directions and guidance for procedures and routines.
∎ Any other responsibility as and when given task by the management.
∎ Bangladesh Association for Community Education (BACE) is a non-government organization established in Bangladesh from 1977 with aim to develop poor and vulnerable people living condition in Bangladesh. Now BACE is involve to creating access of low cost medical treatment for poor and vulnerable people of Sonargaon, Narayangonj district. To achieve this goal BACE has established “BACE Integrated Hospital (BIH)” at Sonargaon (Near Folk Museum). BACE is looking for a Senior Staff Nurse for the hospital.
∎ Job Context
∎ SCANU/NICU nurses are highly trained to care for critically ill newborns, using evidence-based practices to improve neonatal survivability. They continually monitor each baby's breathing, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature, and other indicators to quickly identify signs of distress. Working a reunion hospital as a Senior Staff Nurse (SCANU/NICU Unit) at Sonargaon, Narayangonj district.
