Educational Requirements:
∎ B. Sc. in Engineering.
∎ Preference will be given to CBTA certification.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To contribute implementing UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission and goals, and development of future strategy documents as needed.
∎ To contribute in designing and developing the TVET and Skills Development programs of UCEP Bangladesh.
∎ To conduct training as required for the TVET and Skills Development programs of UCEP Bangladesh.
∎ To analyze technical education programs, identify areas of improvement and provide necessary guidance for improvement.
∎ To initiate and conduct researches for identifying skills demand in coordination with other relevant experts and share/use the findings for programs development, communication and marketing.
∎ To plan, design and facilitate curricula, module/ materials development process for TVET and Skills Development programs.
∎ To facilitate development of CBLM, CSLB and other necessary materials.
∎ To plan and facilitate events and workshops with relevant personnel from BTEB, NSDC/NSDA, industry, ISC, training institutes and others for developing curricula and module for TVET and Skills Development programs.
∎ To plan and develop innovative ways for ensuring program quality of TVET and Skills Development programs in line with national guidelines.
∎ To plan, develop and guide assessment of students and trainees.
∎ To provide feedback and guidance to the Regional Management, Head of Technical Schools and other relevant personnel for improving program quality.
∎ To develop and follow up a process of training evaluation.
∎ To regularly visit programs at the field level and share/use the finding for program quality improvement.
∎ To host various visits of donors, government and other bodies relevant for TVET and skills development programs.
∎ To lead in developing and maintaining various TVET and Skills Development programme related partnerships.
∎ To plan, coordinate and facilitate capacity development of staff related to the TVET and skills development programs.
∎ To contribute to develop various courses related to TVET and Skills Development programs under UCEP Training Institute.
∎ To provide inputs for developing the organizational strategy, project proposal, business plan, business goals and other documents.
∎ To coordinate with field team as a focal person of different partnership project related to TVET and Skills Development programs.
∎ To ensure updating and following up of Project Management Guidelines.
∎ To prepare various reports required for the program and other purpose of the organization.
∎ Regularly contribute to UCEP Bangladesh website, other relevant department as well as CEO’s Office with updates success stories, case studies, announcements of events, achievements, relevant documents and information etc.
∎ To contribute to prepare budget of TVET and Skills Development programmes and guide its effective and efficient implementation.
∎ To contribute to develop and maintain in UCEP Bangladesh website an electronic event calendar on ongoing internal and external trainings, workshops and other events related to programmes. This is to be updated on monthly basis.
∎ To prepare and present quarterly report for SMT on progress of programmes.
∎ To represent UCEP Bangladesh in various TVET and Skills Development programme related forums and share the learning with others in the organization under the guidance of supervisor.
∎ Promote and contribute to ongoing efforts towards gender equity & equality, child/staff protection & safeguard, inclusiveness, accessibility and discrimination free environment in the workplace and operations/activities/plans. In applicable cases, ensure that necessary budget allocation is there and in KPIs these issues are reflected regarding employees under supervision.
∎ To maintain strict confidentiality of information, documents and other internal and external communications.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum 08 years of relevant professional experience including at least 03 years in a senior TVET and skills sector specialist role.
∎ Excellent command of communication skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer operating skill & conversant with MS Office package.
∎ Self-motivated, adaptable, team player and passion for skills development works.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel.
∎ Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
