Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ Graduate in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Enginerring Water Resource Engineering/ Building Engineering/ Construction Management/ URP/ Architect/Environmental Science with 3 years professional experience
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support in design and undertaking studies to assess city wide generation, composition , environmental impact from current management of solid waste and faecal sludge.
∎ Contribute in deriving appropriate technical solutions for integrated waste management both at community and city scale.
∎ Prepare technical and perspective drawings of integrated waste (solid waste, faecal sludge, clinical waste, plastic waste and e-waste) treatment plant with detail designs and procedures for field implementation (construction), approval/certification from govt. authority and Department of Environment - DoE.
∎ Prepare BoQ and cost estimation of proposed technical solutions based on actual market and the schedule of relevant national department
∎ Advise and build capacity of field implementation team for construction, operation and maintenance of physical schemes
∎ Advise in designing and facilitating actions to build local capacity for sustainable O&M of infrastructures and promote production uses of end products.
∎ Prepare technical brief and other knowledge materials, conference/ journal papers and abstracts, blogs and other online and/or offline media, workshops, conferences and others.
∎ Provide technical input to fund raising proposals and support/coordinate in carrying out studies and researches for integrated waste management works.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 year of working experience in development sector preferably on waste treatment works
∎ Have good skill on preparing technical & perspective drawings, BoQ and estimate
∎ Practical Experience in filed implementation/ infrastructure construction works
∎ Compulsory excellent skills on AutoCAD (2D & 3D). Additionally, skills on 3ds Max/ 3D Studio Max/ Revit/ Blender/ other 3D modelling software, Photoshop, SPSS and GIS would be appreciated
∎ Compulsory excellent skills on MS Office specially on MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point
∎ Very good skill in speaking and writing in English
∎ Good communication skill and willing to work in a team
Salary: Tk. 60000 - 70000 (Monthly)
