Job Context:
∎ Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) was established in 1986 as a national legal aid and human rights organization. Initially its work was limited to providing free legal services to the disempowered particularly women, working children and workers in Dhaka city. But over the last thirty-three years, ASK has evolved a more comprehensive approach to the promotion, protection and prevention in the area of legal and human rights. ASK`s strategies to promote human rights awareness and community activism; offer legal aid through mediation and litigation while survivors are given psycho-social counselling; investigations into human rights violations and their documentation are supplemented by research which together lead to media campaigns to defend human rights, and public interest litigation for law and policy reform. ASK has implemented different projects in Cox`s Bazar and is currently working for promoting women`s participation in peace building and social cohesion among Rohingya and host community.
∎ The purpose of this role is to oversee and assist the Project Manager in program implementation, design and delivery for all capacity building-related activities targeted at capacity development of women headed non-governmental organisation and women`s groups and network in the project areas for Rohingya refugees and in the adjacent host community of Rajapalong Upazila for the project "Maitree: Promoting Women`s Participation In Peace Building and Social Cohesion". S/he will provide and lead technical assistance in activity planning and implementation for capacity development components. The Capacity Building Manager is responsible for coordinating capacity building initiatives, developing ToRs for consultants, hiring consultants, managing the delivery of outputs, module development, organizing various meetings, trainings and seminars and preparing quality reports.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare monthly work plan, strategies and methodologies in accordance with project design and donor agreement;
∎ Ensure engagement of the beneficiaries, community actors, local officials and other stakeholders in undertaking training, workshops, consultation meetings, etc.;
∎ Prepare concept notes, raise program advance and adjust advance within deadline as on activities wise;
∎ Collect and select different vendors if need of the project;
∎ Perform filed work to ensure effective, efficient and timely implementation of project activities;
∎ Quality implementation of the project; gather information from the field organizers and supervise their activities;
∎ Ensure regular field level monitoring of projects to ensure tracking of project activities, effective utilization of resources and documentation of changes achieved.
∎ Organize big rally, workshop and make strategically on GBV issue movement;

∎ Support capacity building activities
∎ Provide local support in assessment of the organizational capacity needs and necessary training/workshop as per the project design
∎ Support in developing capacity building materials for training based on the needs of the organization, community women and other stakeholders
∎ Maintain strong collaboration with capacity development manager and support him/her as required,
∎ Arrange and coordinate all trainings with consultant and facilitators;
∎ Provide customized mentoring follow ups at organizational and individual levels;
∎ Coordinate and monitor the delivery of capacity building activities by consultants;
∎ Assess the trainings; and participate in necessary collaborative efforts with other capacity building providers and national training networks;
∎ Conduct training need and prepare training curriculum, training manual, training materials including flip chart, and different IEC materials.
∎ Prepare the programme reports in assistance of Project Manager;
∎ Arrange different types of meetings and seminar with different stakeholders and development partner.

∎ Arrange and facilitate the meeting, training, meeting, and workshop, etc

∎ Representation, Coordination and networking:
∎ Work closely with project team, and other project units for ensuring smooth coordination within project team and partner organizations;
∎ Provide necessary support to finance team adjusting advances with an aim to maintaining transparent accounting system;
∎ Smooth working relation with the donor, local leaders, NGOs, local government bodies and other stakeholders;
∎ Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as and when required and assigned by the authority;
∎
∎ Knowledge Management and Monitoring:
∎ Responsible for gathering data from field sources and inform update on challenges, lesson learnt and risk related to community engagement and resilience.
∎ Support in field activity report by providing data and information as required line manager, M&E officer, and the superior management
∎ Promote organizational learning by ensuring timely and quality project reports and updates the higher management accordingly.
∎ Lead and coordination with the project officer and other field staff on effective project implementation
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 05 years of experience in capacity building and training of NGOs;
∎ At least 05 years of experience in capacity building and training in the field of gender, gender based violence including as this related to social cohesion and peace building;
∎ Demonstrated experience in developing modules and competency based training packages;
∎ Experience in conducting research and survey;
∎ Ability to develop ToRs, manage and supervise consultants;
∎ Excellent planning and organizational skills;
∎ Good computer literacy on MS-Office Management;
∎ Ability to work with minimal supervision;
∎ Ability to work effectively across teams with inter cultural and inter disciplinary sensitivity;
∎ Proficiency in English, written communication and presentation skills.
∎ Age limit: 24-50 years, Both Male and Female, but female candidate will preference.
Salary:
∎ Salary : BDT 60,000 per month (consolidated)
