Required Skills and Competencies:
Sound technical knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC).
Knowledge of applicable ISO standards and quality management principles.
Ability to identify quality defects, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in computer applications and quality-related documentation.
Effective communication and coordination skills to work with production and other cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail, accountability, and commitment to product quality.
Awareness of workplace safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement practices.
Experience Requirements:
Relevant experience in Total Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control within ceramic tile manufacturing or a related manufacturing industry will be preferred.
Practical exposure to production quality monitoring, inspection procedures, quality problem-solving, and process improvement will be an advantage.

Context:
Akij Bathware Ltd. is looking for a Senior Officer – TQM to monitor the quality of bathware products, conduct inspections, identify production defects, and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with quality standards, buyer specifications, and approved reference samples.
Conduct quality inspections and evaluate pre-production samples to ensure product conformity.
Establish and monitor quality parameters to maintain consistent product quality.
Identify quality defects, investigate root causes, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with relevant departments.
Support product research and development initiatives to improve product quality and production efficiency.
Monitor customer complaints and implement measures to enhance customer satisfaction.
Maintain quality records and prepare periodic reports on quality performance.
Coordinate with Production and other relevant departments to resolve quality-related issues.
Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and compliance with established operational procedures.
