To support SHN mission, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Developer/ Programmer with expertise in ASP .NET, C#, and SQL Server to join the HQ IT team as Senior Officer, IT.
∎ The Senior Officer, IT will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using the C# programming language and the .NET framework. The incumbent is expected to be a team player, enthusiastic about learning, enjoy solving problems and coming up with software solutions for Clinic Management/ Hospital Management solutions. The Senior Officer, IT will report to the Head of IT.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Core application development using modern technologies.
∎ Write complex SQL queries, Store Procedures, Functions with knowledge on Indexing, Query Optimization and Database Performance Optimization for MS SQL Server & MySQL
∎ Manage databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
∎ Analyze, solve, and correct issues independently in real time, providing end-to-end solution.
∎ Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
∎ Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
∎ Design Reports in Crystal Report, RDLC Report.
∎ Web service administration & configurations
∎ Troubleshooting and resolving software issues reported by users.
∎ Providing technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person.
∎ Keeping track of user’s feedback and requests for new features.
∎ Updating and maintaining documentation for software products.
∎ Collaborating with IT team to identify and fix software bugs.
∎ Continuously monitoring the performance of software products and making improvements as necessary.
∎ Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Additional Qualification:
∎ Must have professional experience on core application development using C#, ASP.NET Web form, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, including its Extensibility Models, MSSQL, Entity Framework, Routing, Model Binding, Web Services, REST/ JSON/ SOAP Web APIs, WCF, ADO.NET, LINQ, back-end server connectivity.
∎ Must have experience writing complex SQL queries, Store Procedures, Functions with knowledge on Indexing, Query Optimization and Database Performance Optimization for MS SQL Server & MySQL.
∎ Experience using SCM including Git and GitHub.
∎ Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
∎ Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
∎ Strong knowledge of Development methodologies, Multithreading, OOP Design patterns and principles.
∎ Knowledge on Software Development Architecture & Software Development Life Cycle.
∎ Quick learner & good problem-solving skills, capable of working under tight schedule.
∎ Work with the team to determine the best technical approach to meet business goals aligned with program architecture.
∎ Knowledge of updated terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding on Web Application, Desktop Application and Mobile Apps.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple projects.
∎ Educational qualification may be relaxed in case of highly competent candidates.
∎ Preferred Requirements:
∎ Experience working in SCRUM or Agile Methodologies.
∎ Experience of handling a large project.
∎ Hands on experience with Design patterns.
∎ Hands on experience with JS frameworks including Next or React JS.
∎ A strong advocate for unit testing, code reviews, and other best practices.
∎ Proficient in the use of a major ALM system, Azure DevOps or comparable.
∎ Cloud Experience with Azure or similar.
∎ Demonstrated knowledge of rapid prototyping, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Ability to write code that is easily understandable by others.
∎ Should have knowledge of IIS server maintenance and configure.
∎ Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
