∎ Solidaridad (www.solidaridadnetwork.org) is an international network organization working in Asia and across the globe to address farmers’ income and poverty, and workers’ wellbeing through empowerment and policy influence. Solidaridad Network Asia, as part of the global network of Solidaridad, is operating in Bangladesh for promoting nature-based solutions for the sustainable use of land and water for agricultural productivity that increase income and employment for the rural urban poor, and reduce poverty.
∎ Our work focuses on fostering sustainability and empowerment of farmers and workers to develop scalable and economically sustainable solutions in the agricultural and industrial landscape, through the adoption of climate smart agriculture, regenerative farming for agricultural productivity and diversification, increased value addition, and supporting an enabling and conducive environment for public and private sector involvement, ensuring that farmers and workers are not left behind.
∎ Vision: We envision a world in which the economy works for all: where all we produce, and all we consume, can sustain us while respecting the planet, each other, and the generations to come.
∎ Mission: We enable farmers and workers to earn a living income, shape their own future, and produce in balance with nature by working throughout the whole supply chain to make sustainability the norm.
∎ Senior Officer- Finance & Admin delegated with overall responsibility for providing financial management services in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial operations. S/he will assist in implementing the Financial Policy of Solidaridad through expert support in line with accounting principles & financial procedures and statutory requirements, and comply with the donor’s policies and procedures as well. S/he communicates relevant concepts, processes, information, and arguments efficiently in personal and group contexts and across all organizational levels.
∎ S/he will perform a range of administrative, logistic, and procurement responsibilities. S/he will manage office stock, prepare regular reports on office expenses and budget, and maintain records of procurement and asset lists. In addition, s/he will assist in the budget preparation process and maintenance of office equipment, vehicles, and other assets
∎ The position will be based in Khulna and require close coordination with all team members of Solidaridad Network Asia in Bangladesh.
∎ The Senior Officer - Finance & Admin will report to the Head of Finance, with a dotted reporting line to the Programme Manager for all projects, and will work in functional collaboration with HR, Admin, Procurement and Project teams.

SaFaL is supporting 56,825 smallholder producers on improved farm management through developing their farm business plan and market linkages.
