Job Context:
∎ A Multinational Workwear Apparel manufacturer company invites applicants for the post of Senior Merchandiser for their Cumilla factory.
∎ Job Location: Cumilla, EPZ
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Will be responsible for overall activities and outcome of the assigned project with absolute integrity and honesty.
∎ Handle day-to-day Merchandising operations.
∎ In Coordination with the planning department ensure that all the trims and accessories are ordered and delivered in time before the production start date.
∎ Preparing 'Time & Action Plan' and work with relevant department regularly to ensure desired quantity and quality and deliveries will be on time.
∎ Planning, organizing & executing purchase orders for trims and accessories.
∎ Ensuring on time LC opening and payment to the suppliers and work with finance and commercial team to ensure the same.
∎ Understanding the bottle neck areas and act immediately. Do the risk analysis meeting with team and related department as necessary.
∎ Develop new embroidery, print, trims with good vendor.
∎ Monitor warehouse receiving, processing warehouse documents and supplier payments in time.
∎ Collecting of garment samples, trims and different types of swatches, updated tech packs from the designers.
∎ Submission of samples to designers.
∎ Analyze process flow chart to simplify the work process and shorten the approval procedure and lead time.
∎ Follow up with designers for approvals and feedback.
∎ Perform all other job assigned by Department Head, General Manager and other Management.
∎ Meeting with vendors for trims & accessories
∎ Assist completion of orders from development till ready for delivery with guidance from seniors.
∎ Follow up the planning/production/quality/warehouse and others team to ensure ready goods on time.
∎ Prepare all kind of production samples such as PP sample, size set sample, shipment sample within allocated deadlines and assist with the preparation team work with internal departments to ensure proper accessories with Branding and design.
∎ Prepare costing sheets based on approved development sample and submit for approvals.
∎ Communicate with suppliers for raw materials, booking and delivery in time.
∎ Responsible for the coordination of daily operational activities in pre-production sample development, costing and production tracking.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in Apparel Merchandising
∎ Preference will be given if have experience working on workwear Products.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
∎ IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
