• Age At least 30 years

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in Verification, Commercial, Import, or related functions.

• Strong knowledge of LC/TT/CAD, import documentation, customs duty, freight, insurance, and foreign payment procedures.

• Sound understanding of PR, PO, PI, CI, PL, B/L, Certificate of Origin, PSI, GRN, QC, and costing processes.

• Good understanding of commercial and financial risk management in import transactions.

• Proficiency in relevant ERP/software systems.

• Oversee and verify end-to-end foreign bill verification and import-related documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

• Review inventory status, PR, PO, PI, Insurance, and LC/TT/CAD opening and approval processes.

• Verify supplier selection, bank selection, PSI requirements, payment procedures, and rate fixation/bargaining processes.

• Examine import documents including Commercial Invoice (CI), Packing List (PL), Bill of Lading (B/L), EXP, Certificate of Origin, and other relevant documents.

• Verify product receipt, GRN, QC, inspection, and store receiving processes against approved documents and procedures.

• Monitor and verify customs duty, freight, costing, demurrage, and detention charges and ensure proper documentation.

• Identify and verify cases of short/non-receipt of products and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.

• Monitor insurance claims related to damaged, broken, or lost products and ensure timely follow-up and settlement.

• Verify the LC opening process, supplier performance, and overall import transaction compliance.

• Ensure proper documentation, process compliance, and coordination among Commercial, Procurement, Finance, Bank, Warehouse, QC, and other concerned departments.

• Identify process gaps, discrepancies, and financial risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the HOD, or Management.
