Responsibilities & Context:
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the factory’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with buyer requirements, international standards (AQL, WRAP), and Technical compliance guidelines.

  •  Maintain quality objectives and criteria for each production process: cutting, sewing, and finishing.

  •  Continuously improve quality systems through root cause analysis, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and process audits.

  •  Review buyer specifications, and samples to ensure clear quality standards before bulk production.

  •  Approved pre-production samples (PP, size set) in alignment with buyer and internal requirements.

  •  Daily Follow-up inline quality checkpoints (cutting, sewing, embroidery/printing, finishing).

  •  Monitor and control inline AQL inspection system to identify defects early and reduce rework/rejection.

  • Train line QC inspectors on defect identification, quality SOPs, and buyer-specific standards.

  • Monitor and control sewing line DHU (Defects per Hundred Units) to remain within acceptable limits.

  •  Ensure end-line quality checks before garments move to finishing.

  •  Ensure finishing, measurement, packing, and labeling follow buyer requirements.

  •  Conduct training sessions on quality standards, buyer requirements, defect prevention techniques, and assist buying QC for smooth final inspections.

  •  Coordinate with buyers, technical auditors, and merchandising team regarding quality concerns, CAPA reports, and shipment approvals.

  •  Ensure compliance with social, environmental, and safety standards during all quality control activities.

  •  Maintain daily/weekly quality reports (DHU%, rejection %, rework cost, audit results).

  •  Conduct root cause analysis of quality failures and implement preventive measures.
