∎ A Master’s degree with professional certification in relevant areas is a plus.

∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Development or Operation Management. NGO, Program Management, Program Officer/ Manager, Programme Design
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support program implementation at all FH Area Programs in line with the Program goals. Assist Manager- Area Programs (MAP), by providing necessary support and cooperation;
∎ Assist MAPs in adhering to all established program plans, and policies and follow established program implementation methods and tools;
∎ Identify, share and facilitate possible solutions to critical barriers to achieving program implementation plans with the guidance of the Director- Program Operations and with other stakeholders including procurement and logistics by conducting regular area visits and arranging coordination meetings; and
∎ Identify the challenges of program implementation and bring them to the supervisor for further discussion and guidance.
∎ Assist in monitoring the program goals at regular intervals and provide necessary feedback (in consultation with Director- Program Operations to the MAPs and ensure necessary adjustments are made at the field level;
∎ Assist in monitoring the implementation of sponsorship goals and provide the necessary support to meet global and local standards;
∎ Monitor the Area Program budget and ensure that the allocations are being used appropriately. Propose necessary adjustments to the Director- Program Operations ahead of time and modify the implementation plan accordingly.
∎ Develop capacity building plan in collaboration with HR for the program staff and find appropriate ways to implement and follow up on the plan.
∎ Contribute to the collection, development, and maintenance of all program-related materials, policies, and guidelines in collaboration with the sector leads within the timeframe and ensure availability at the AP level.
∎ Maintain and manage individual goals to ensure objectives are achieved;
∎ Pursue ongoing personal learning and training in areas related to the role.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Direct experience within an INGO or reputed national NGO, Knowledge & Competencies is preferred.

∎ Excellent people skills including warmth and sensitivity, conversational, able to relate to and effectively communicate with people from different cultures (at various levels within the organization);

∎ Able to self-manage a diverse and dynamic set of responsibilities, proactively solve problems and/or suggest viable solutions while advancing goals and objectives;
∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google platform, and virtual technologies such as Skype and/or GoToMeeting;
∎ Excellent organizational skills; ability to plan and coordinate work, and ensure the efficient flow of projects and processes;
∎ Strong people management skills / interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, teach, and mentor staff and volunteers;
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small groups;
∎ Ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization and across organizational and cultural boundaries.
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
∎ Ability to travel throughout Bangladesh up to 30% of the time per year, to insecure countries or locations.
