Responsibilities & Context:
  • Responsible for overall factory activities, Developing & implementing all-over Reproduction. Co-ordinate with IE, Planning & Merchandising department for smooth production Improve factory capacity to meet the plan target.
  • Review the current policies and improve plans to improve upon the existing standards.
  • Set the monthly Key Performance Indicator (CPM; DHU level; Cutting, Sewing & Finishing Efficiency;
  • MMR; NPT; Cut to ship ratio; Employee Turnover) and evaluate it monthly Design the SOP for individual departments, sections & overall process & operations
  • Prepare manpower budget for the organization & ensure the standard man-machine ratio Follow Style wise SMV calculation, operation breakdown preparation & manpower allocation Re-engineering the operation to reduce SMV and to ensure the output.
  • Train the management regarding IE philosophy, productivity, efficiency, Supply Chain, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kanban System, KAIZEN, TPM, etc.
  • Follow the Capacity study, Time study, Motion study, Method study, Bottleneck analysis, Line balancing, and Learning curve & Analyze the root cause of the non-productive time to reduce it.
  • Help the merchandising team with costing, providing actual CM va.
  • Select the product family and ensure the right product is in the right line.
  • Design the operator recruitment policy basis on standard skill tests.
  • Follow various reports: Monthly KPI evaluation, Daily production variance, Monthly CM & FOB earning, etc.
  • Reduced time loss during the setting time.
  • Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes staff requirements and production standards.
  • Target set up with SMV calculation.
  • Recommendation for changes to policy or procedure to increase efficiency.
  • Analyze the sample for contraction, and critical operation and suggests how to do it.
  • Team building & training.
  • Follow up on all activities of team members & support them to do their job properly.
  • Fixed daily target on the basis of manpower, machine, &, etc.
  • New system implements by discussing with top management.
  • Other activities as per superior's instruction.
