Job Context:
∎ Location: Head Office.
∎ JOB PURPOSE:
∎ Driving Financial planning, strategic decision making and performance management to ensure smooth operational planning.
∎ Driving data-based decision making in businesses, by scheming and standardizing analytical and technology solutions in an effective way.
∎ Determining the requirements of Microfinance operations by rationalizing data and information aligning with strategic and programmatic priorities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Budget Management
∎ Ensure Budget exercise and review (Aprox BDT 3500 cr.) and track monthly progress/actual against budget
∎ Collaborate with all the sub units of MF, Operations and Finance for budget management
∎ Develop frameworks to guide Operations team to optimize spending
∎ Strategic Planning & Insight
∎ Ensure setting right target (BDT~ 65,000 cr) to right people considering Macro economic analysis and Geographic potentiality
∎ Lead to identify business risks and opportunities and drive profitable growth
∎ Analyze, Interpret, evaluate and interrelate microfinance business data and develop integrated business analyses and projections to incorporate in data analytics or business analytics.
∎ Performance Management:
∎ Performance management of 2500+ Branches, 30,000+ staff and 30,000+ cr tk portfolio through annual business planning, monthly forecast
∎ Generate and present monthly insight to the management committee
∎ Prepare contextual analysis by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data, information and trends to recommend for reviewing and improving existing product and services.
∎ Partnership Management (Internal & External)
∎ Identify potential partnership with different industries (eg. FinTech, FMCG, RMG) in order to provide access to finance support for their potential entrepreneurs and retailers.
∎ Plan, Conduct and coordinate market and operational related studies with different units and stakeholders to support business planning and process improvement.
∎ Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to explore ongoing or one-time operational issues, to design proper and effective business or data analytics.
∎ Ensure regular updates and changes on Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework to ensure data rationalization within the programme.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
