Educational Requirements:
∎ CA/Partially qualified.
∎ MBA/M.Com in Accounting / Finance from any reputed university.

∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Pre-award institutional, financial and budgetary assessment.
∎ Budget preparation for projects and annual budgeting for the School.
∎ Initiate contact and budget modifications.
∎ Donor reporting as per donor agreement as well as requirement.
∎ Solicitation, evaluation and selection of the sub-grantees.
∎ Monitoring: ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions and applicable regulations.
∎ Facilitation of procurement of necessary items for projects and keeping records as per Donor requirements.
∎ Capacity Building: develop operating and financial skills, systems and controls.
∎ Close out of project (if the project is run out of period).
∎ Audit and track all BRAC University and donor required financial approval documents including soft and hard copy filing and submission to donor monthly as and when required basis.
∎ Manage the process of payments to project's local vendors, consultants, and travelers (national and international) according to BRAC University and donors' policy, ensuring there are appropriate supporting documentations. Process the software accounting accordingly.
∎ Monitor the budget variance and inform the management for their decision making.
∎ Coordinate to internal and external audit, prepare TOR for the auditors and prepare audit responses.
∎ Review monthly financial reports of the sub-recipients and relevant vouchers and ensure all expenses are allowable, allocable and reasonable as per BRAC University's as well as donors' policies and statutory requirements by physical verification during field monitoring visit.
∎ Perpetration of Financial Guideline for the sub-recipients and sub-grantees and mentoring the sub-grantees accounts and financial personnel.
∎ Preparation of fund disbursement after reviewing the fund requisition with the approved budget. Asset Register Management.
∎ Documentation. Participate donor meetings and implement decision accordingly.
∎ Additional Responsibility (if CA/Partially Qualified):
∎ Audit and track all BRAC university and donor required financial approval documents including soft and hard copy filing and submission to donor monthly as and when required basis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 7 years' experience in finance management in a large and well reputed financial institution/ multinational company/ development organization with fair knowledge of financial accounting principles and relevant accounting software's.
∎ Strong Leadership and analytical skill.
∎ Project management skills.
∎ Adequate IT skills e.g., Basic knowledge of MS office, Internet and Database management.
