Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in Finance/Accounting discipline with CA/ICMA partly qualified with asset audit exposure
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in all aspects of the monthly financial close process, including processing journal entries for accruals and other activity related to assigned asset categories
∎ Review and approve asset requisitions for the appropriate capital versus expense determination and compliance with the Company's capitalization policies
∎ Monitor projects, verify completion and ensures capitalization and retirements are completed timely and accurately
∎ Prepare schedules and provide requested information to internal and external auditors
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners (i.e., operations teams, FP&A, and others)
∎ Drive process improvements and automation to improve efficiencies within the group
∎ Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the redecoration of fixed asset
∎ Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets
∎ Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.
∎ Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed
∎ Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger.
∎ Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
∎ Recommend to management whether fixed assets should be disposed of.
∎ Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management.
∎ Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries
∎ Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations
