Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.·
∎ Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to financial records and reports. Support audit processes by ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.·
∎ Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate financial data for senior management decision-making.·
∎ Cost Control & Analysis: Assist in monitoring manufacturing costs and performing variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.·
∎ Insurance Management: Assist in renewing existing insurance contracts and evaluate new insurance contracts when required. Ensure that the company’s insurance needs are adequately met, and premiums are in line with the company's risk profile and budget.·
∎ Cash Flow & Treasury Support: Help manage free operating cash flow projections, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.·
∎ Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls and support compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.·
∎ Policy Review: Review company policies on a yearly basis, meeting with relevant departments to assess if any updates or changes are required. Ensure policies are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.·
∎ Reporting & Presentation: Prepare clear financial reports and summaries for internal stakeholders, assisting senior management in understanding key financial metrics.·
∎ Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, particularly the operations and production teams, to support financial decision-making and identify areas for cost reduction.
