Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Sc in Environmental Science from any reputed university
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare and organize the factories according to local regulations and buyer's standards e.g. ISO 14001-2004, Oeko-Tex, OCS, GRS, GOTS etc
∎ Prepare policy regarding Environmental Conservation Rules 1997 and Environmental Conservation Act1995
∎ Interpretation of Legal environmental requirement with concerned departments
∎ Monitoring and implementing sustainability projects like Puma NEST, ZDHC, 3e etc. in factories
∎ Continuously reviewing the environmental compliance activities of the factories & Visit the floor with Buyers during audit time
∎ Sustainability Program Recommendations implementation and monitoring in all sister concern factories of DBL Group
∎ Collect information and conduct meeting as planning stage of project implementation and monitor continuous improvement plan
∎ Arrange different test from certified testing organization according to requirements of buyers and Maintain close relation with the recognized testing organization. BUET, SGS, BUREAU VERITAS, ITS & etc
∎ Arrange waste water and sludge test from certified testing organization for dyeing and printing unit according to requirements of buyers
∎ Do update all the test report and certificates according to the expiry dates
∎ Data collection and submission for different project requirement.
∎ Routine wise monitoring of implementation activities regarding project recommendations
∎ Continuously updating the sustainability portion of MIS website
∎ Prepare monthly audit schedule and according to schedule conducting internal audit & updating those factories for buyer's environmental standards
∎ Internal Auditing & Preparing all factories of DBL Group to fulfill requirements as per buyer environmental standards and financial party recommendation regarding environment
∎ Environmental audit findings sharing with concerned department & planning how it can be rectified by taking completion time line and follow up on due time for that issues accordingly
∎ Cooperate with different organizations who have taken different initiative to reduce environmental impact of our factories
∎ Attend meeting arranged by different buyers in their offices and in our factory
∎ Facing Buyer Audit, third party audit, financial party audit regarding environmental requirements by Coordinating with buyer team time to time and preparing documentations for buyer's CAP
∎ Any environmental requirements is coming from buyer's team instantly forwarding to the concern and give the way of implementations to
∎ the concern
∎ Detail explaining of all environmental documents & records to the Buyers audit team on behalf of the management during third party as well as financial party audit
∎ Provide the appropriate guidance and support to the factory concern & environmental team members to implement buyer environmental standard and legal requirements
∎ Buyer wise issue sharing and conduct team meeting to review regular time to time feedback from the team member
∎ Asses the company benefits and implement the projects such as Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemical (ZDHC), Sustainability Factory program, Water Sustainability by IFC, etc.
∎ Post-performance evaluation of environmental project activities to implement project activities cost effective way
∎ Identify the new environmental aspects and impacts and mitigate measures
∎ Monitoring of EMS Team and receive feedback from team members
∎ Become updated about all compliance related law
∎ Prepare training manual and policy on environmental issues for staff and workers for all factories
∎ Provide training to the workers on Environmental management system
∎ Liaison with whole stakeholders
∎ Develop self, and maintain knowledge in relevant field at all times
∎ Provide necessary support to the Department to meet the new requirements of buyer, documents, records, information and amendment of laws
∎ Provide necessary support to the Head of Department
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Sound Knowledge and practical experience on Oekotex, OCS, GOTS, RCS, GRS, Environmental Laws and Regulations
∎ At least 4 years of practical experience on EMS in any large RMG factories
∎ Excellent communication in both written & speaking in English
∎ Conversant with MS-Office
∎ Willing to stay beside factory at own accord
∎ Job Location : Kashimpur, Gazipur
