Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services. Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
Communicating with principals for product specification, availability, costing and lead time.
Organizing principal visits to the existing clients and potential clients.
Promoting and selling products using solid product specifications and benefits to existing and prospective customers.
Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.
Assisting principals and technical experts with chemical/product trials at clients’ premises; providing technical services and support.
Conducting market analysis; performing cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their needs.
Establishing, developing and maintaining positive business and customer relationships.
Maintaining client records.
Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
Generating leads; reaching out to customer leads through cold calling and developing new businesses.
Expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
Meeting or exceeding sales goals. Achieving agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
Coordinating sales effort with team members, marketing programs and other departments.
Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Analyzing the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
Suppling management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients and collecting credits.
