• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university

• Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Structural Engineering or related field will be given preference

• At least 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms, Developer, Building & Construction Materials

• Age At most 55 years

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a senior-level position

• Demonstrated experience in project execution, operations, and maintenance

• Prior experience in high-rise building construction will be an advantage

Job Summary:

• North South University (NSU), a leading private university in Bangladesh, invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the the undermentioned positions. The university is looking for proactive and skilled engineers to support project operations, maintenance, and construction supervision. The incumbent reports to the Project Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and interpret structural designs and architectural drawings for construction projects

• Develop structural designs where required; proficiency in ETABS or similar structural analysis software will be considered an advantage

• Plan, schedule, and supervise construction activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications for construction works

• Utilize AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software effectively for drawing

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and technical staff

• Oversee and coordinate large-scale site operations and workforce management

• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and site safety policie

• Coordinate with internal teams and other departments to ensure smooth project implementation

• Manage inventory control
