∎ We invite applications for the position "Senior Biostatistician" to join our research team.
∎ Employment term: Fixed-term/Regular
Job Responsibilities:
∎ CHRF is involved in different multi-country projects, generates high volumes of surveillance data and receives clinical and laboratory data from different institutions. Successful candidate has to
∎
∎ Coordinate with the project team of biostatisticians and/or (statistical) programmers and share the knowledge.
∎ Work closely with team to provide technical support in clinical and laboratory oriented study design, sample size calculations and endpoint selection.
∎ Contribute to technical presentations/posters and publications of new methodologies.
∎ Work on significant and unique issues that require exercising independent judgment and developing/adapting methodology.
∎ Help to develop research proposals and protocols, specifically by determining the sample size and power calculations.
∎ Clean the datasets and prepare those for analyses.
∎ Write the program codes and validate statistical analyses.
∎ Work with the project specific teams to prepare reports and write manuscripts
∎ Develop internal capacity in biostatistics via short courses and seminars
∎ Comply with all institute policies and SOPs as well as regulatory requirements for the programming, analysis and reporting of research projects.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have a strong command in written and oral English
∎ Must be highly organized and be particularly attentive to details
∎ Must have possess problem solving ability, critical thinking and management skill and be able to work independently
∎ Must be enthusiastic to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment and be willing to take initiatives
∎ Skills on Stata/SPSS/R are essential
∎ 3/4 years' experience of working in public health and laboratory related research.
Salary:
∎ Salary range: BDT 55,000 to 60,000 per month (depending on experience)

∎ Contributory provident fund and festival allowance (Eid/Puja/Christmas and Baishakhi)
