Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Customer Acquisition:
Identify and approach new potential customers, including pet stores, veterinary clinics, retailers, and online platforms.
Develop a deep understanding of the company’s pet food products and tailor sales pitches to customer needs.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate potential buyers on the benefits of the products.
Account Management:
Maintain and manage relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
Regularly follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and address any concerns.
Ensure timely delivery of products and manage post-sale support.
Sales Targets:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas as assigned by the sales manager.
Drive revenue growth by increasing sales volume with current customers and acquiring new business.
Track and report on sales performance, including daily calls, customer meetings, and deals closed.
Market Research and Insights:
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
Share insights with the sales team to inform strategies for targeting potential customers or entering new markets.
Product Promotion:
Promote the company’s pet food products by attending trade shows, events, and in-store promotions.
Work with marketing teams to support promotional campaigns, product launches, and special offers.
Distribute marketing materials to customers, such as brochures, catalogs, and samples.
Negotiation and Closing:
Engage in price negotiations, discounts, and terms of sales with customers to close deals.
Ensure that contracts are prepared and executed accurately, in line with company policies.
Sales Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and progress through the CRM system.
Prepare regular sales reports detailing activities, achievements, and areas for improvement.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Coordinate with the logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with product development teams to communicate customer feedback and suggest product improvements.
Customer Feedback:
Collect feedback from clients regarding product quality, pricing, and availability.
Share customer insights with the sales team and senior management to improve products and services.
Brand Representation:
Represent the company professionally during customer meetings, store visits, and industry events.
Build the company’s reputation as a trusted supplier of high-quality pet food products
