• B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Agriculture from any reputed university.

• MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Chemical Industries

• Age At most 35 years

• At least 2 years of working experience in Product Management.

• Excellent communication, presentation, & reporting skills.

• Excellent IT proficiency.

• Business acumen and knowledge of marketing tools.

• Willingness for extensive travelling.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing marketing plan, yearly sales budget and profit & loss statement for assigned products.

• Preparing and implementing an effective sales & promotional plan for the assigned products.

• Prepare & execute monthly/yearly promotional plan including promo materials and promotional activities (of assigned products).

• Gathering market insights by developing an effective network, sources and reports.

• Visiting the market frequently to formulate a competitive marketing strategy according to prevailing market conditions.

• Working closely with the Regulatory affairs department for searching for new molecules, and finding alternative sources of existing molecules.

• Registration & label extension related issues.

• Generating innovative ideas for product diversification for future requirements.

• Prepare Monthly/Yearly (Cascading into the month) Import Plan.

• Analyse the market gaps and propose New Molecules, Label Extension of Existing Molecules and Source Change of Existing Molecules to the R&D Department.

• Conduct a customer satisfaction survey among farmers, channel partners & DAE and review the marketing strategies.
