Job Context:
∎ The role of Sales Executive - Institutional Partnerships is primarily to establish and strengthen pharmacies and/or hospitals in the rural and industrial areas of Bangladesh as primary sources of vision screening and low-cost eyeglasses for those who live with less than $4 a day. In order to accomplish this, the sales Executive will provide continuous support to the Head of Sales who is primarily responsible for on the ground implementation of the program. S/he will also regularly monitor progress in sales growth and provide support to achieve annual target.
∎ VisionSpring is a social enterprise and bases performance on both sales targets as well as impact targets.
∎ As such, the Sales Executive will prioritize to establish and strengthen pharmacies and/or hospitals in the rural and industrial areas of Bangladesh as primary sources of vision screening and low-cost eyeglasses for the poor to improve their productivity, household income. Under the supervision of the Head of Sales, the Sales Executive will strengthen the sales pipeline and ensure business expansion and build a strong network in the field. The Sales Executive will build capacity of sales team to conduct demand generation activities through various channels and increase demand of eyeglasses among men and women living.
∎ In addition to sales promotion through the Pharmacy and/or Hospital Channels, Sales Executive will also explore more avenues and support other sales activities within the country to ensure the organization meets its annual sales target.

∎ WHAT WE EXPECT YOU WILL DO?
∎ Closely work with Partners to establish and strengthen pharmacies and/or hospitals as the primary sources of vision screening and low-cost eyeglasses for those who mainly live with less than $4 a day.
∎ Develop and provide training to the Partners on relevant topics including vision screening, marketing, demand generation, etc.
∎ Work under the guidance of Head of Sales to implementing sales and marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
∎ Provide inputs for forecasting and developing annual sales plan projecting expected sales volume and profit.
∎ Support to the partner in analyzing their pharmacies as a business and have a client centered approach. Provide on-the-ground support to Partners.
∎ Proactively involve in project cycle management for different types of clients that needs attention and different types of marketing strategies and communication.
∎ Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping up to date with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
∎ Develop their skills to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met.
∎ Plan to ensure achievement of target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies.
∎ Frequently meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
∎ Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics.
∎ Provide daily report of field sales success and communicate superiors.
∎ Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict.
∎ Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and will document customer interactions.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven ability to quickly establish trust and credibility, and forge and maintain close relationships with diverse groups.
∎ Willing to travel extensively and stay in remote rural areas.
∎ Other preferred and beneficial experience: (1) History with and/or commitment to community service, social enterprise, and social impact work; (2) Living or working in remote rural areas; (3) Sector experience in optical, fast moving consumer goods, health, hospitals, pharmaceuticals; (4) Extra curricular activities will be an added advantage (Please mention in the resume).
