The Rigging Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing safe lifting and rigging operations on industrial construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all rigging and heavy lifting activities on site.

• Coordinate with crane operators, lifting engineers, and construction teams.

• Review and implement approved lifting plans and method statements.

• Inspect rigging equipment, slings, shackles, hooks, and lifting accessories before use.

• Ensure proper load handling, signaling, and safe lifting practices.

• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce HSE requirements and Permit-to-Work procedures.

• Monitor manpower, allocate daily tasks, and maintain productivity.

• Report lifting activities, equipment status, and site progress to management.

• Ensure compliance with ASME, OSHA, and client lifting standards.

• Stop unsafe operations and implement corrective actions when required.
