Definition: A supervisor managing the team responsible for uninterrupted utility supplies (water treatment plants, industrial gases, cooling systems) vital for steel cooling and furnace operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily water and gas maintenance activities.

• Monitor installation, repair, inspection, and maintenance of water and gas pipelines and systems.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and maintenance plans.

• Assign work to technicians and ensure proper completion of maintenance tasks.

• Identify faults, leaks, and system problems and arrange necessary corrective actions.

• Ensure all maintenance work follows safety standards and company procedures.

• Monitor tools, equipment, materials, and manpower requirements.

• Prepare maintenance reports and update supervisors/management on work progress.

• Coordinate with other departments and contractors for smooth maintenance operations.

Relevant Skills Required: Industrial HVAC/Utility management, piping systems (hydraulics & pneumatics), gas safety compliance, and team leadership.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma / B.Sc. in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering from a recognized board/university.

• Relevant experience in Water & Gas Maintenance is preferred.

• Good knowledge of pipeline maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.

• Strong supervisory, communication, and team-management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple maintenance activities.
