Responsibilities & Context:

Quality Feeds Limited is looking for a skilled and experienced Automobile Denting & Painting Technician to perform vehicle body repair, dent removal, surface preparation, painting, finishing and related automobile maintenance work. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that company vehicles are properly repaired and maintained with good finishing quality and minimum downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform automobile denting, body repair and restoration work on company vehicles.

• Identify and assess dents, scratches, body damage, rust and other exterior defects.

• Repair damaged vehicle bodies using appropriate denting and reshaping techniques.

• Perform panel alignment, straightening, cutting, welding and replacement of damaged body parts when required.

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, filling and applying appropriate primer.

• Perform automobile painting, including color matching, paint mixing, spray painting and finishing.

• Ensure proper application of primer, base coat, top coat and clear coat as required.

• Maintain proper paint thickness, color consistency, smoothness and overall finishing quality.

• Repair scratches, minor body damages, paint defects and other exterior imperfections.

• Operate and maintain denting, painting, welding, sanding, polishing and related workshop tools and equipment safely.

• Inspect completed work to ensure proper alignment, finishing, and quality before releasing the vehicle.

• Coordinate with the concerned supervisor regarding vehicle repair requirements, spare parts, materials and work schedules.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the workshop and work area.

• Follow all applicable safety procedures while handling paints, chemicals, tools, machinery and equipment.

• Minimize material wastage and use paints, thinner, primer, putty and other consumables efficiently.

• Maintain basic records of repair work, materials used and vehicle maintenance activities when required.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the management or supervisor.
