Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Robust knowledge of revenue recognition principles and financial controls.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate across functions.
Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle including billing, invoicing, reconciliation, and collections.
Ensure timely and accurate generation of invoices for terminal handling, storage, vessel, and related port services.
Monitor customer accounts, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain effective communication with clients regarding billing issues.
Coordinate with operations and commercial teams to validate service records against revenue generation.
Analyze revenue trends and provide regular reports to management on billing accuracy, receivables, and collection status.
Implement controls to minimize revenue leakage and ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and port regulations.
Support audits by preparing necessary revenue documentation and responding to queries.
Assist in system improvements and automation of billing/revenue processes for greater efficiency.
Provide customer support for billing inquiries and resolve disputes in a professional and timely manner.
