Additional Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in revenue management/Accounts in the travel/airline industry.
Strong knowledge of IATA, BSP, GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) systems is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context:
The Revenue Officer is responsible for monitoring, managing, and optimizing the company’s revenue streams related to air ticket sales, reservations, and associated services. The role ensures accurate billing, timely collections, cost control, and maximization of profitability while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Revenue Management & Optimization
- Monitor daily ticket sales, refunds, voids, and cancellations to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze revenue reports and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Implement pricing and revenue strategies in coordination with management and airline partners.
- Ensure all transactions comply with IATA, BSP, and company financial policies.
Billing & Collections
- Prepare and verify invoices for corporate clients, travel partners, and agents.
- Track outstanding dues and follow up for timely collections.
- Reconcile BSP/airline statements with company records.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports.
- Monitor profitability across routes, airlines, and customer segments.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales performance.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate with auditors for periodic internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate documentation of revenue-related transactions.
Team Support & Coordination
- Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams for revenue-related matters.
- Assist in training staff on revenue processes and compliance.
- Support management in strategic decision-making by providing data-driven insights.
