Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree preferably in any discipline preferably in social science/Social welfare/ Psychology/Anthropology/Law/Gender studies.
∎ Post graduate degree.

∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ The Response Officer is responsible for the day to day implementation of GBV prevention & protection activities through SSWG operations; mobilizing community leaders and men, boys, women and girls from the community to participate in awareness campaigns and discussions/dialogue on GBV, conducting community trainings, supervising Case Management Assistant and managing budget lines for prevention activities. The officer will also work with the community and other sector staff to identify GBV risks and share findings on a regular basis to inform advocacy.
∎ Provide case management technical support, training of Case Management Assistant for services to survivors of GBV who report to World Vision in the assigned camp and blocks.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position will be responsible for providing response services to survivors of GBV in Rohyinga camp & host Community in close coordination with partners/Other service provider in the GBV referral network.
∎ To Support in the response program to achieve the organizational vision, mission and program objectives.
∎ To implement GBV response and prevention activities in the field level in coordination with other GBV officers, Case Management Assistant and in consultation with the Project Manager & GBV Specialist.
∎ Ensure timely and proper implementation of SSWG’s activities.
∎ To write up activity reports upon completion of every activity.
∎ Good understanding and supervision skill on GBV Case management and Information Management System. It would highly appreciate if she had understanding GBVIMS+/Primero.
∎ Basic Knowledge on MS, Excel use, and report generate.
∎ Motivate and ensure teamwork among women and girl’s safe spaces’ case worker, facilitators for greater ministry impact, in the community.
∎ Work in liaison with officers and relative stakeholders in the Host Community ensure effective project implementation.
∎ Maintain confidentiality (use safe space for case management information, filing, review)
∎ Regularly update the GBVIMS data base with information collected in the intake forms.
∎ Support the caseworkers to maintain proper documentation and provide confidential services to survivors of GBV, grounded in IASC Guideline on survivor-centered case management approach.
∎ Support the maintenance of the IASC case management system by maintaining client confidentiality.
∎ Identify case management supply needs and raise the purchase requests.
∎ Understand GBV system in Camp & Host Community and guide case workers to adopt/follow the system.
∎ Take full responsibility for quality implementation of WGSS, GBV activities including skills development for women and girls.
∎ Coordinate with all sectors-based agencies in the camps to ensure compliance to inter agency and World Vision International standards for implementing GBV in emergencies as well as gender mainstreaming.
∎ Organize meetings with women and girls to ensure effective participation and support in the respective project activities.
∎ Activity support to case worker on case management with supervision and guideline regularly and follow up case plan and service.
∎ Develop regular monthly, quarterly and annual project management documents including implementation plans and reports.
∎ Actively support pre-distribution activities for dignity kit distribution i.e beneficiary assessment and sensitization
∎ Enhance and train women and girls on GBV prevention and response.
∎ Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to caseworkers and outreach volunteers supporting prevention and response work.
∎ Identify and build the capacity of community-based groups to provide ongoing psychosocial support to GBV survivors to facilitate their long-term recovery.
∎ Build the capacity of caseworkers to provide quality case management services that follow IASC standards and guidelines.
∎ Safely link up survivors who wish to disclose and seek support for their GBV experiences with GBV case management services offered at the women space.
∎ Disseminate information to the community on where and how to report GBV incidences and encourage reporting.
∎ Document and share key GBV risks identified during implementation.
∎ Engage the community in participatory exercise to develop context specific IEC materials and messages to facilitate community level sessions.
∎ Assist communities identify their priorities, opportunities and resources for effective GBV prevention & response, participation and psychosocial project implementation.
∎ Establish and liaise closely with other partners, especially UP level, agencies and local leaders regarding project activities to ensure a coordinated approach to project implementation, including participation in relevant workshops, meetings and to keep the coordinator informed.
∎ Participate in interagency assessments.
∎ Strengthen and maintain networks with community leaders, women leaders, service providers and camp management to ensure that survivors receive compassionate support from the community.
∎ Participate in psychosocial assessment of women registering for women center activities and support the women empowerment supervisor to run group therapy and psycho education activities at the women center.
∎ And lead coordination meeting with stakeholders if required.
∎ Prepare sub project proposals, purchase requests and relevant documents in advance to facilitate implementation of planned activities.
∎ Track and manage project budget lines assigned.
∎ Participate in interpretation of the analyzed data on GBV reporting trends to inform intervention areas.
∎ Participate in the development of case management monitoring systems and ensure consistent use and application.
∎ Participate in preparation of relevant reports regarding case management services.
∎ Track and manage project budget lines related to case management activities.
∎ Develop own monitoring mechanism to supervise case worker & SSWG Assistant.
∎ Follow activity & budget tracking tools and inform immediate supervisor timely if any deficiency observe & predicted.
∎ Maintain WV commutations flow accordingly (before made any type of upward communication, first take supervisors concern)
∎ Using of appropriate budget line items & T code, total amount, remaining money while prepare SPP.
∎ Maintain budget monitoring tool and report to supervisor about burn rate.
∎ Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to World Vision’s Core Values in the approach to work and relationships.
∎ Collaboration with different key working groups and have exposure visit.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 38 years
∎ Clear Understanding on the issues project has to work on.
∎ Knowledge on current development and emergence issues
∎ Good conceptual and practical skill on case management and information management system.
∎ Good knowledge and skills in forecasting and budgeting
∎ Baseline survey, Evaluation and Monitoring process and tools.
∎ Good facilitation skill of Training, Seminar and Advocacy programs.
∎ Proven management and leadership ability
∎ Good communication and networking skill
∎ Chittagong/Rohingya language skills will be strong consideration. Good command in English & Bengali, both written and verbal.
∎ Decision making and conflict resolution skills.
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation.
∎ Ability to work under stressful condition and adaptive to local culture and situation.
∎ Minimum of 3 years working experiences in the relevant field
∎ World Vision experience especially working experience under JPF grants funded project will be given priority.
∎ The position is subject to contingency of fund.
