Educational Requirements:
∎ Postgraduate degree in Sociology, Political Science, Anthropology, Economics, History, Public Administration, Social Governance or any relevant field from any reputed public university of Bangladesh.
∎ Any related training or course on Land Acquisition, Resettlement and Survey or related publications will be given extra credentials.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation and implementation of Resettlement Plan (RP), Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and Social Management & Monitoring Plan (SMMP) for donor funded projects;
∎ Willing to participate field visit as and when necessary; and
∎ Participate other tasks as assigned by organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of professional working experience with the preparation of Resettlement Plan (RP), Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and Social Management & Monitoring Plan (SMMP) in different development projects.
∎ Must have proven experience of implementing at least two resettlement projects in Bangladesh;
∎ Strongly familiar with Acquisition and Requisition of Immovable property Act, 2017; WB/ADB Safeguard Policies with Involuntary Resettlement; AIIB ESS2, etc.
∎ Other Qualifications:
∎ Should have good communication skill with local administration, donor agencies, etc.
∎ Should have good report writing and interpretation skill to identify the projects probable impacts;
∎ Should have clear understanding about qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection;
∎ Should have good proposal and EOI writing skill of various development projects.
∎ Good working knowledge of ICT technologies (e.g. email, internet, etc.) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office, MS Excel, MS Power Point, etc.)
∎ Interpersonal skills with team playing attitude
∎ Good language skills in Bangla and English (both in writing and speaking)

Salary: Negotiable

Compensation & Other Benefits:
