∎ Bachelor of Social Science (BSS)
∎ Skills Required: Ability to Work Under Pressure, communication and interpersonal skill., MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ OneNote, Training, Workshop
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The primary scientific task of the research trainee is to assist the principal investigator in range of research related activities. These include (but not limited to):
∎ Assist PI and other colleagues to prepare, modify and/or submit IRB documents and related reviews.
∎ Assist and/or coordinate collection, management, analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data as per requirement of respective project(s).
∎ Assist PI and other colleagues to conduct both systematic and unsystematic review of grey and/or scientific literature(s).
∎ Make project relevant field visit(s) which may require several days to week.
∎ Assist PI and other colleagues to conduct and/or organize training sessions for quality data collection.
∎ Assist PI and other colleagues to critically assess data quality.
∎ Assist PI and other colleagues to prepare scientific reports, briefs, blogs and/or journal articles with appropriate references.
∎ Assist PI and other colleagues or take initiatives for relevant dissemination of scientific findings to wide range of audiences and ensure relevant documentation and or incorporation of received feedback(s).
∎ Assist PI and other colleagues to conduct initial search, preparation and/or submission of research proposals/bids/grant applications.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Coordinate workshops and training sessions to share knowledge and experiential learning in order to develop sound science within the centre under the guidance of the PI and other colleagues..
∎ Work cooperatively with different stakeholders, inside and outside the organization, to accomplish objectives to build and maintain partnerships, leverage information, and achieve results under the guidance of the PI and other colleagues..
∎ Work closely with support departments such as finance, logistic management, HR etc. to develop relevant documents such as budget, JADs etc. to help initiate, operation as well as completion of research project(s) under the guidance of the PI and other colleagues.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 35000 (Monthly)
