∎ Job Location: Based on HQ in Dhaka (with frequent travel to Bogura factory).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
∎ Responsible to conduct day to day lab trials at Bogura
∎ Conduct pilot trials; run pilot plant operations as per the designed recipe and process parameters
∎ Assist in plant scale up/commercial trials and support in co-developing product roadmaps
∎ Compiles trial data (lab, pilot and plant trials), analysis results (chemical, microbiological, shelf-life)
∎ Closely work with cross functional teams (Marketing , Sales, Production, Supply chain ,quality & Milk team)
∎ Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of raw materials for trials and maintain raw materials library at R&D facility
∎ Support timely and right execution of product development activities including shelf-life study, sensory evaluation, and technology transfer and assist in R&I documentation (specifications, protocols, reports, etc.)
∎ Support new product development/introduction, current brand maintenance, quality and operations related activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 8-9 years of experience in a similar role with basic understanding of the products, ingredients & processes
∎ Minimum 5 year research experience with attention to detail & strong mindset on research & development
∎ Self-driven, able to operate effectively in a high pace working environment, with significant autonomy
∎ People Oriented; Able to Work with Team and Internal/External Stakeholder
∎ Ownership: make decisions, is accountable
∎ Data collection, management and analysis
∎ Pragmatic, pro-active, problem solver

∎ Functional Competencies :
∎ Milk Science: Knows the basics of milk chemistry; understand relationship between recipes and organoleptic aspects; knows synergistic effects occurring during process (trials/commercial)
∎ Culture and Fermentation: Understands the relevance of starter cultures for our products; skills in the use of basic microbiology tools/methods
∎ Food Chemistry and Physical Measurements: Understands analytical results; uses basic analytical methods (pH, fat, acidity, TS, protein, etc.); knows how to perform an analytical request (procedure, tools, key contact, etc.)
∎ Technology Process and Product: Understands basic ingredients and its functionality, product properties; knows sensorial and physico-chemical methods
∎ Food Safety, Quality and Regulation: Knows the basic food safety and quality policies
∎ Nutrition and Health: Basic understanding of macronutrients and micronutrients; understands the basics of nutrient digestion
∎ Consumer and Taste: Knows and understands the added value of sensory and consumer science for R&I; understands basic sensory terminologies / information.
∎ Communication: All the time in communication with central R & I team.
∎ TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
∎ Frequent travel to bogura factory & overseas
∎ Regular retail visit.
