Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor with honors and Master's degree in English, or a subject from Social Science discipline (e.g. Economics/Sociology/Development Studies/Public Administration/International Relations/Mass Communications etc.), Statistics, or Agricultural Science, etc.,
∎ Candidates with a 3rd Division or a CGPA of less than 2.5 on a scale of 4, or 3 on a scale of 5 at any stage of their education need not apply.
∎ Skills Required: Data Analysis, Proficiency in written and spoken English, Proficient in English and Statistical Software like STATA, Project proposal writing, Report Writing, Research and Consulting Firms

Job Context:
∎ Samahar Consultant`s Ltd. is a leading institute that conducts large-scale research with funding from the Government of Bangladesh, the World Bank, ADB, JICA, and other development partners. Samahar Consultant`s Ltd is inviting applications from eligible Bangladeshi Nationals for the position of Research Associate to be recruited on core position under Research and Quality Assurance Division.
∎ The position is Dhaka-based. However, the Research Associate must have no unwillingness to undertake frequent research-related field visits as needed;

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proposal preparation and Report writing for the Research/Study/Project in the Socio-Economic Development Sector;
∎ Conduct/assist study/research as a member of a team responsible for specific assignments;
∎ Make presentations of research findings in Bangla and English;
∎ Contribute to policy advocacy undertaken based on research findings s/he was involved - draft policy briefs/position papers and assist in preparing advocacy plans;
∎ Assist in developing and updating creative, innovative and effective designs research;
∎ Attended various meetings/workshops/seminars/symposiums to represent Samahar Consultant's Ltd.; and
∎ Perform any other relevant task assigned by the Samahar Consultant's Ltd..

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Eligible women candidates will get preference;
∎ The age range must have between 28-45 years;
∎ More than 03 years of of working experience in a reputed research institute or Development organization/NGO with a Socio-Economic and Environment focus study will be an added advantage;
∎ Experience in a large-scale survey-based data collection using an open-source application like Kobo and Google format etc. will be an added advantage;
∎ Excellent presentation skills (written and oral), both in Bangla and English are necessary;
∎ Knowledge on Knowledge Management;

Salary: Negotiable
