Education:

The candidate should have a Postgraduate/Master’s degree in Economics or associated disciplines from a reputed university. Candidates with only a Bachelor’s degree in Economics but without a Master’s degree are encouraged to apply and will be considered for the Programme Associate (Research) position. A minimum CGPA of 3.60 is required, which may be relaxed in case of candidates with a Master’s degree from a reputed foreign academic establishment and/or with publications in peer-reviewed journals and/or relevant job experience. Skills in using softwares such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, EViews, Tableau, PowerBI, etc, for statistical and econometric analysis are required.

The ideal candidate needs to have a keen and demonstrated interest in issues related to macroeconomic and fiscal-financial management, development economics and global economic issues. The applicant should have strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills as well as excellent drafting skills. The candidate should be highly motivated, capable of displaying learning ability and a good team player.

Successful candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary starting from Taka 61,600 per month for the position of Research Associate. The salary for the Programme Associate position will start from Taka 35,000 per month. The compensation package will be based on the candidate`s qualifications and relevant experience.
