Job Context:
∎ Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB) is one of the leading national public health research organizations in Bangladesh. Currently, CIPRB is inviting application from the qualified candidates to fulfill the following vacant post immediately.
∎ Project Name: Assessment of existing service availability (EPI and PHC services) and healthcare-seeking behaviour, stakeholder mapping and gaps analysis for 4 City Corporations
∎ Job Location: Dhaka with frequent travel to project sites
∎ Duration: 6 months with possibility for further extension depending on availability of funds and performance.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will work closely with the Project Team Leader in implementation of the research project activities under supervision of the Project Director to accomplish following tasks:
∎ Desk review of documents related to policy, strategy, action plans, service delivery reports, and publications on primary health care (PHC) and immunization particularly in urban areas.
∎ Work with research team in planning, implementation of the research to assess the urban PHC and EPI services, service coverage, healthcare-seeking behaviour, stakeholder mapping and gaps analysis within four City Corporations (Sylhet, Khulna, Rangpur & Narayanganj) according the project TOR.
∎ Work with CIPRB research team in developing implementation micro-plan, research tools, training of data collector, quality assurance, data analysis, report writing, manuscript drafting, developing newsletter, etc.
∎ Work with Team leader in supervision and monitoring of research activities and data collectors.
∎ Work in CIPRB in keeping coordination and liaison with DGHS, DGFP, MoHFW, MoLGDRC, City Corporations, UNICEF and technical partners in project implementation.
∎ Perform extensive field visits to four City corporations as necessary.
∎ Prepare and present reports and other deliverables for the project.
∎ Performs any other assignments/tasks instructed by ED, Director-RCH, CIPRB.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 2-3 years of experience and track record of publishing technical papers and experience in technical content writing and research papers.
∎ Knowledge and experience in research and programme implementation, management and M&E.
∎ Knowledge on urban primary health care services and immunization (EPI)
∎ Excellent skill in verbal and written communications, particularly in English.
∎ Proficiency in data analysis and technical expertise on data with computer skills and SPSS/STATA.
∎ Writing manuscript and research proposals

Salary:
∎ Consolidated BDT 44,064/- per month. (Negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
