Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in any discipline. However, preference will be given to the candidates of Social Science, Anthropology, Public Health, Economics, Public Policy, MBBS or related fields with relevant experience and strong interest in qualitative research.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a Research Associate for the School.
∎ Work Station: Based in Dhaka. Must be flexible to travel to the field sites during data collection

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The main responsibilities of the RA are as follows:
∎ To lead qualitative research projects in collaboration with partners and donors.
∎ To plan, organize and implement qualitative data collection process, provide guidance and direction to the team for effectively conducting high-quality data
∎ Reviewing literature and prepare guidelines for research protocol implementation
∎ Conducting Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), In-Depth Interview (IDI)
∎ Analyzing data using qualitative data analysis software and prepare interpretations of data
∎ Writing up scientific reports and manuscripts for journal publications
∎ Mentor junior researchers in the team to implement the research, and conducting high-quality research
∎ Organize and facilitate training, and workshops on qualitative research
∎ Some other administrative tasks related to implementing the research

Additional Requirements:
∎ Research and/or project management experience at least 2-3 Years.
∎ Must have scientific writing skills and good command in writing and speaking English as well

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Initially, the RA will be offered a 3-month contract for the described responsibilities. Afterwards, the RA may be recruited for longer term conditional on good performance and may continue working under the supervision of PI.
