Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree, preferably in Environment Science & Management, Textile,Fashion Design or Product Design, Industrial Design, Architecture.
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline (Textile, Fashion Design, Business Administration, Architecture, Product Design or Relevant field).
∎ Computer knowledge including MicroSoft Office Tools, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design research strategies, including creating a basic plan of action for research and finding the necessary data, to find out alternative use of "Aluminum Packaging Materials".
∎ Find out current practice, manufacturing process, material detail of the Aluminum Packaging Materials.
∎ Find out Upcycling Process and Opportunities in other countries and sectors.
∎ Develop concepts, products and solutions coordinating with business units.
∎ Find out potential users and understand customers' expectations on to-be manufactured products.
∎ Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with Marketing and Operations.
∎ Transfer new technologies, products, and manufacturing processes into and out of the project.
∎ Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes and equipment.
∎ Develop concepts, products and solutions by working with innovation and product development units.
∎ Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goals.
∎ Document all phases of research and development.
∎ Manage customer relationships and perform RFP Review, Customer Visits and Product Testing.
∎ Other responsibilities and duties assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 years of relevant work experience as a product designer, production manager or research and development officer/ consultant/ manager experience with local/ international fashion/ product development brand is preferred.
∎ Exceptional research skills to find and collect data.
∎ Analytical skills to process and understand the collected data, and to sort pertinent information out from a large amount of data.
∎ Team management - as research consultant sometimes direct investigative researchers in the field
∎ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Design and visualization skills, either by hand or through computer-aided design (CAD)
∎ Artistic and innovative
∎ Excellent attention to details
∎ Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends
∎ Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in a culturally diverse environment with people from different background and cultures.
∎ Successfully manages conflicting priorities.
∎ High degree of flexibility to carry out other actions if the need arises.

∎ The position will be based in Dhaka with regular visits to Cox's Bazar and the field.
