Responsibilities & Context:
The Postman24, Bangladesh’s first subscription-based news outlet, is seeking dynamic and curious Reporter Interns to join our newsroom. You’ll assist in reporting, researching, and writing original, data-driven, and analytical stories across business, tech, health, climate, and public policy. This internship offers real newsroom experience, mentorship from award-winning journalists, and the chance to work on impactful, subscription-worthy journalism.
Position: Reporter Intern
Location: On-Site (Dhaka)
Stipend: BDT 15,000–23,000/month
Duration: 3–6 Months
Responsibilities:
- Assist in researching, reporting, and drafting original news and feature stories
- Conduct interviews, verify facts, and gather data
- Collaborate with editors and senior reporters on long-form stories
- Cover live events, press conferences, and policy briefings when needed
- Support multimedia and visual storytelling teams
