Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated, proactive, and dynamic individual for the position of Registrar in the Office of the Registrar at Feni University.
Department: Office of the Registrar
The Registrar will be responsible for:
Providing secretarial support to university authorities.
Ensuring quality student services related to registration, tuition assessment, and academic records while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Evaluating transcripts, advising students, faculty, and staff on academic regulations, and graduation requirements.
Coordinating the Student Information Systems, including pre-registration, registration, and course adjustments.
Ensuring compliance with student records policies.
Recording transfer credits, advanced placements, study abroad activities, thesis titles, comprehensive examination results, and grade changes.
Managing tuition and associated fees.
Liaising with regulatory bodies.
Ensuring compliance with University Grants Commission (UGC) rules and regulations.
Arranging Convocations, Board of Trustees meetings, Academic Council meetings, Syndicate meetings, and other essential gatherings.
Managing the printing of catalogs, prospectuses, handbooks, leaflets, newsletters, and related materials.s
Overseeing the efficient functioning of the Registrar`s office.
Collaborating with academic departments to plan and coordinate academic programs and activities.
Supervising administrative staff within the Registrar`s office.
Serving as a liaison between students, faculty, and administrative offices.
Providing information on policies, standard practices, procedures, and collective agreements to resolve issues.
Responding to inquiries and resolving issues with students and staff.
Identifying priorities, organizing workflow activities, and scheduling meetings.
Attending meetings, recording minutes, and coordinating activities.
Performing other duties as assigned by higher authorities.
