Job Responsibilities:
∎ This individual will represent, where appropriate and advantageous for Company, to external stakeholders including governmental, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), Universities, Industry and Trade Organizations, conferences, etc. to educate and advocate the Company value proposition. Provide leadership and corporate direction through the engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
∎ This individual shall have proven capabilities as a strategist, understands emerging business opportunities and threats in the region (trade policies, vendors/suppliers, competition, talent, technology and supply chain) and drives internal and external collaboration to shape Company ’s product supply strategy in the region. The strategy shall include a broad range of measurable, short and long-term goals, and a series of activities that when undertaken will drive achievement of Company’s strategy.
∎ This individual shall be proficient in establishing and communicating a country and regional vision, which not only aligns diverse and cross-functional leaders across Company but also motivates individuals and teams to deliver exceptional results. The professional in this role shall be a natural leader who instils pride, fosters trust and inspires a relentless focus on results.
∎ Demonstrates strong systems thinking proven ability to navigate complexity, spot interdependencies and collaborate across multiple stakeholders to anticipate and solve problems, optimize resources, and unlock value for Company.
∎ Acts as the one Company voice in country and region, accountable for representing Company in high-level forums and industry bodies on the topics of Company employer branding product supply, responsible sourcing, compliance. Internally, responsible for seamless dissemination of key Company communications/messages via townhalls, focus groups, cross functional sharing sessions and ensures clarity and consistency of understanding among associates.
∎ Responsible to ensure business continuity & resilience - Engage with internal and external stakeholders to anticipate and mitigate operational, legal and/or reputational risks to Company operations and ensure business continuity. Keep Company operations in compliance with local laws & regulations and Company code of ethics
∎ Identify and engage in regional and international events related to Company’s product supply operations and responsible sourcing, that offer opportunities for networking and external engagement to progress Company strategic objectives in the region.
∎ Responsible and accountable for management, evaluation, and development of professional managers and their teams to seek continuous improvement and build a stronger team; guides the country talent strategy and provides assessment of staff for succession planning purposes. Also responsible for the development and spend of country budget.
∎ Steward of Company’s Purpose, culture, and people first approach. Exercise duty of care and creates inspiring workspace and workplace culture, delivering Company employee value proposition (EVP) to our associates
∎ Leadership accountability for Company assets and services in the countries assigned – real estate, transport, office equipment and office management services - research, budgeting, negotiations, contracts, build out, maintenance etc.
