Experience:

Knowledge of BNMC/DU/BNMD/Health ministry regulations and nursing education structure is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in Bangla and English (written and spoken).

Ability to handle regulatory documentation and confidential academic records.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital record-keeping systems.
Ability to work under pressure during admission seasons and inspections.

Job Responsibilities:
A. Reception & Front Desk Operations:
· Receive and welcome students, guardians, visitors, Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council/University of Dhaka/Ministry of Health officials and government representatives with professionalism and courtesy.
· Maintain the reception desk and ensure controlled access in compliance with institutional security and BNMC and Other inspection protocols.
· Maintain visitor registers, receive registers, appointment logs, and official communication records as required for audits and inspections.
· Handle incoming calls, emails and online inquiries related to nursing education, admissions, and academic matters, and route them to the appropriate offices.
B. Admission & Academic Counselling:
· Provide accurate and ethical counselling to prospective students and guardians regarding BNMC-approved nursing programs (Diploma / BSc / Post Basic BSc / MSc, as applicable);
· Admission procedures, academic calendar, examination systems, and clinical training requirements;
· Clearly explain BNMC/DU registration requirements, internship/clinical practice obligations, and licensing processes.
· Assist applicants in completing admission forms and verifying documents in accordance with BNMC/DU/BNMD admission checklists.
· Ensure that no misleading or unauthorized information regarding BNMC/BNMD/DU approval, seat capacity, or course recognition is provided.
· Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards while handling student data.
C. Coordination with BNMC & Regulatory Requirements
· Support the administration during BNMC inspections, accreditation visits, and government audits by providing accurate records and information.
· Maintain updated knowledge of circulars, notices, and policy updates issued by BNMC/DU/BNMD/Health ministry and relevant authorities.
D. Records, Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate registers and digital records of:
· Student inquiries and counselling sessions
· Admission applications and enrollment status
· Communication with guardians and prospective students
· Prepare periodic reports on admission trends and counselling activities for institutional management.
· Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and aligned with BNMC inspection standards.
E. Institutional Support & Student Services
· Promote ethical conduct, discipline, and professionalism expected in a nursing education environment.
· Perform any other duties assigned by the Principal or Administration in line with BNMC/Health ministry/DU/BNMD norms.
