Responsibilities & Context:
Perform General & Contrast X-ray, OPG, Portable X-rays and CT scans following physician orders and established protocols.
Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
Position patients correctly to capture targeted anatomical areas.
Explain procedures to patients, address concerns, and ensure comfort during exams.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions, especially during contrast-enhanced CT scans & X-rays.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Operate and maintain radiology equipment.
Assist doctors in diagnosis and reporting.
Maintain records and reports of patients.
