The incumbent will be responsible for screening of TB presumptive and contacts of bacteriologically-confirmed TB patients for TPT enrollment by performing quality X-Ray according to national algorithm.
Provide X-ray related counseling and quality customer service in X-ray facilities
Perform digital X-ray of TB presumptive and contacts of bacteriologically-confirmed TB patients for TPT enrollment at TDCs/ community level (using portable X-ray)
Ensure consistent high quality X-ray image through checking and correcting technical quality of the images
Coordinate with radiologists/online platform/Artificial Intelligence to finalize X-ray report and deliver the report to the patients
Do the patient follow-up with abnormal X-ray findings other than Xpert positive and documentation accordingly
Maintain essential safety precautions during X-ray exposure by taking necessary measures (i.e., using lead apron, TLD badge etc.)
Prepare, update and preserve all relevant patient records/ information/ digital copy of presumptive and patients at the X-ray unit
Carry out routine follow-up of Xray unit and notify any need for maintenance in coordination with the management
Carry out the effective functioning of CR unit and ensure quarterly machine maintenance along with record keeping
Keep record and prepare proper necessary reports (i.e., TBCP software etc.) timely
Reconcile both physical stock with register and TBCP software
Assure regular indent, supply of X-ray films and other logistics, proper storage and ensure maintenance of X-ray unit with proper documentation (i.e., logbook etc.)
Practice and promote organization’s gender policy and support implementation of gender equality and women empowerment at all levels
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
