Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Address and rectify any quality defects or variations immediately, and communicate with Quality Manager.
∎ Implement and maintain quality control checkpoints throughout the production line, ensuring early detection of potential issues.
∎ Ensure all sewing garments meet the buyer’s standards and specifications.
∎ Overseeing and supervising the section’s Quality Inspectors and ln-line Quality Supervisors.
∎ Participate in problem-solving meetings and root cause analysis when quality issues arise.
∎ Manage & lead the quality team to achieve optimal performance and efficiency while maintaining proper discipline.
∎ Perform final product inspections before shipment to ensure garments meet the buyer’s specifications and industry standards.
∎ Responsible for attending Line Pre-Production Meetings and tasked with organizing First Production & Trial Cutting meeting.
∎ Enlighten the team about defect prevention, product inspection procedures, and quality control tools. Also responsible for training and development of sub-ordinates.
∎ Document any deviations from quality standards and ensure that corrective measures are implemented promptly. And prepare quality reports for management, outlining any issues encountered and corrective actions taken.
∎ Coordinate with buyer representatives as assigned by management (RQS) to understand their specific quality expectations and requirements.
