Education, Skills & Experience:    

• Minimum Post Graduation (Master’s degree) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.    

• At least 10 years of experience in a relevant field, including a minimum of 5 years at a managerial level.    

• Proficiency in computer operations and the use of internet-based applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Forms, Sheets, Docs, Drive).

• People management, Leadership and motivational skills, Written and verbal communication skills in Bengali & English. 

Major Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance Oversight: Develop and implement quality control processes for all eye care services, including screenings, appropriate correction, and need based refer.

• Support Field Operation: Support the field operation manager and project manager in carrying out all the field activities of Reading glasses for improved livelihood project.

• Monitoring & Evaluation: Regularly assess project operations to identify areas for quality improvement and ensure adherence to health regulations and guidelines.

• Data Collection & Analysis: Collect and analyze performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in service delivery.

• Reporting: Provide regular reports (financial, Programmatic) to the Project Manager including quality control findings, actions taken, and improvements achieved.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with partners, other departments of SF. Liaise with government and non-government stakeholders to ensure consistent quality standards across the project.

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the quality of care and take proactive steps to mitigate those risks.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with national health regulations and global best practices in eye care.

• Capacity Building: Mentor and build capacity of sector specialist and POs through hands-on training and regular supervision, especially in eye care practices.

• Screening Follow Up: Follow up community-based eye screening camps in schools, colleges, clubs, markets, mosques, and SAJIDA Foundation field offices and cross check the screening, identification, and ensure accurate dispensing of powered reading glasses.

• Referral System Monitor: Monitor and establish a referral system for non-presbyopia cases requiring further treatment.

• Inventory Management: Manage reading glass inventory, process requisitions, and deposit income from sales as per financial policy.

• Promote Safeguarding Policies: Promote safeguarding by preventing harm, abuse, and exploitation; uphold and report in line with safeguarding policies to maintain a safe, transparent, and accountable work environment.

Minor Responsibilities:

• Attend various meetings and training sessions as required.

• Organize and celebrate national days related to eye care.
