Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Work with technical teams and national trainers in designing and delivering quality training courses to meet the demand and capacity building needs of selected partners’ teams/ in the region
∎ Identify SRH training needs and coordinate the trainings, mentorships and coaching of the partners’ staff.
∎ Periodically assess quality of SRH delivery; compile progress reports and action trackers for each of the selected partners.
∎ Develop a-team of SRH mentors among the selected partners’ teams.
∎ Contribute to the process of training materials development, conducting proficiency tests, periodic reviews of training courses to improve and adapt curriculum and training materials
∎ Support proposal formulation in identified training and capacity building needs in the region
∎ Disseminate standards, protocols and guidelines for SRH service delivery
∎ Deliver and participate in designing standard formats for reporting.
∎ Support the use of project monitoring tools at all levels including district, facility and community.
∎ With support from the M&E team, maintain a good record keeping system and undertake continuous monitoring and regular evaluation of the training activities.
∎ Compile periodic activity and training \workshop reports as required
∎ Work with the supply chain team to develop accurate and timely monthly supplies orders.
∎ Monitor utilization of supplies, monitor and track the assets
∎ Fully account for all project funds and assets advanced to you during your work.
∎ Participate in developing spending plans for the project as required by the supervisor.
∎ Ensure that all grant-required activities and indicators are systematically tracked and objectives are successfully met within the project timeframe.
∎ Attend and participate in monthly budget review meetings at the field level.
∎ Implement, monitor, and coordinate/supervise program planning evaluating quality assurance in community setting project
∎ Support the PM’s efforts to maintain a positive organizational climate with the highest professional and ethical standards
∎ Support SRH Project intervention in the Rohingya Refugee Context.
∎ Support the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager in collaborating with camp level govt. functionary, Ministry of Health, DGHS, Civil surgeon, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, physicians, nurses, and other hospital professional staff to establish standards for running a medical/health facility and ensure operational support for smooth implementation of health interventions.
∎ Proactively work with various project managers to address risks and issues to ensure project success.
∎ Provides positive response when team members report problems
∎ Promote a spirit of collegiality and gender diversity amongst team members and in the organization
∎ Encourage team members to collaborate across areas; Address and resolve any diversity related issues
∎ Set goals and conduct appraisals for the team; Set high standards and confront poor performance where needed
∎ Take appropriate actions to manage poor performance (such as creating Performance Improvement Plans, coaching, job rotations, and planning separations) in order to build and develop an engaged and high-performing team.
∎ Lead project/support staff teams independently throughout efforts.
∎ Match field site demographics and protocol requirements to identify target locations/households for activities
∎ Monitor and ensure quality in health interventions at the field level
∎ Support Program Manager in monitoring field-level operations
∎ Monitor the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programmer's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Any other task as and when required by the Program Manager
∎ MBBS degree with valid BMDC registration; Master in any discipline especially in Public Health will add value.
∎ Two (2) years of experience with NGOs, UN agency or international development organization and in the quality dept will get preferences.Additional Requirements
∎ Current national and global development trends related to women empowerment, gender, and justice, legal aid, rights-based approach, access to information, SDGs.
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding of Project cycle management, results-based management and rights-based approach.
