Responsibilities & Context:
∎ OP consultation and provide plan of care for patient who need physiotherapy.
∎ Provide physiotherapy sessions for the patient.
∎ Assist medical team during the health camp.
∎ Overall Responsibilities:Provide consultation and physiotherapy service.
∎ Identify physiotherapy needs of the patient and plan therapy accordingly.
∎ Provide physiotherapy sessions to the patient including manual & Instrumental Therapy.
∎ Assist medical team during special health camps.
∎ Assist surgical doctors while caring the post-operative patients at the ward.
∎ Organize training on physiotherapy for the other medical staff on a regular basis (Paramedic, Health Educator).
∎ Managing patients during screening for health camp.
∎ Maintenance neat and cleanliness of Physiotherapy unit.
∎ Prepare daily and monthly activities report and share with supervisor.
∎ Attend the patient screening session during orthopedics surgery camp.
∎ Follow up with physiotherapy patient and update the information.
∎ Appropriately handle of the physiotherapy equipment and instrument.
∎ Proper Maintenance & Cleanness of instruments and proper maintenance of medicine and equipment.
∎ Cleanliness and fumigation unit regularly.
∎ Knowledge about correct aseptic techniques are used at all times during application of instrumental physiotherapy to patient.
∎ Ensure clinical advise, diagnosis and patient history are taken through eHospital software.
∎ Need to show empathy to the patient.
∎ Need to explain all the procedure and treatment to the patient.
∎ Don’t make the waiting time long.
∎ The own service area will be his or her own responsibility, everything related to this room will be his or her own duty and accountability to be fulfilled.
∎ Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
∎ Appropriately follow safeguarding policy and organizational code of conduct.
∎ Diploma in Medical Technology (Physiotherapy) from recognized IHT.
∎ 2-3 years of relevant experience (Experience in NGOs will be preferred).
∎ Excellent communication skills and desire to learn.
∎ Flexible, highly committed & motivated to work in remote locations, specially in riverine areas.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills.
∎ Good teamwork exposure.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) are other pre-requisites.
