Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree in Public Health / Environmental Health / Health Science / Disaster Management focusing on Health Emergency or any other relevant disciplines from the recognized university with MPH.

Job Context:
∎ The incumbent is responsible for the delivery and management of the activities related to public health including disease outbreak and preparedness, COVID-19 response plan and implementation, involving community and make aware of them in a way thus the project objectives are achieved ensuring high quality and timely inputs
∎ The duration of the contract will be until June, 2021 with possibility of next one year extension.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide assistance to the Project Manager (PM) for ensuring timely implementation of the project activity and produce structured work plan for each intervention.
∎ Oversee the activity advancement on regular basis.
∎ To enhance the technical capacity of the project team in Public Health Promotion approaches to ensure implementation of planned activities in targeted areas
∎ To work closely with the public health engineer and implement an integrated PH programme to achieve the project objectives.
∎ Ensure the project performance as per donor's compliance.
∎ Supervise and monitoring the staff performance maintaining close collaboration with the PM and Project Focal.
∎ Assist in preparing monitoring tools according to the project indicators.
∎ Ensuring monitoring of the construction work following approved specification, design and sector specific standards as well.
∎ Ensure implementation of the WaSH activities as per the work plan and or defined by his/her supervisor in line with the sectoral design and service quality.
∎ Work on ensuring COVID awareness and community engagement- enhancing RCCE and neighborhood approach
∎ Properly plan and act to control disease outbreak & disaster preparedness and response plan in host community
∎ Contribute in the staff capacity development training on (MMH, RANAS, Gender in WASH & Hygiene Promotion)
∎ Design work plan in a way thus people are aware of water contamination, its aftermath and take the necessary measures as per the project activities
∎ Work closely with other colleagues on the Sanitation and hygiene, community awareness initiatives
∎ Maintaining coordination and liaison with different level of relevant stakeholders and participating in the sectoral coordination meeting regularly.
∎ Validate the relevance of the intervention area, the selection of beneficiaries, and identification of committed players.
∎ Ensure the project's follow-up.
∎ Regular monitor the WaSHrelated activities at field level.
∎ Monitor and follow up the field level staffs' activities including the volunteers.
∎ Prepare the event/meeting report as per reporting guideline on regular basis.
∎ Prepare the periodic, donor report and present in the required forum.
∎ Attend the different coordination meeting including meeting of GoB departments, local administrations, donors and sectoral strategic groups.
∎ Ensure all relevant procedures for Security, Finance, Logistics, HR and Administration issues.
∎ Uphold humanitarian code of conduct and adhere to and promote humanitarian guiding principles.
∎ Comply with NGO Forum for Public Health's policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, gender & equality, humanitarian responsiveness and other relevant policies.
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/organization.
∎ Follow and maintain the disciplines properly as mentioned in the Service Rules of NGO Forum.
∎ Work in true spirit of teamwork and preserve personal integrity and respecting the organizational hierarchy of accountability.
∎ All other tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Fair knowledge on Rohingya Refugee context including Infection WaSH intervention in emergency/humanitarian situation. Sound knowledge on using different software related to data entry, analysis, report writing and preparing presentation etc. Ability to work hard, work under pressure in humanitarian response context, positive and can-do attitude and ability to understand local language.
∎ Self-motivated, independent of the ability to perform multi-task
∎ Proficiency in English speaking and writing
∎ Mentality to work in refugee camp area and field visit following Humanitarian Principles.
∎ Sound knowledge of essential software like MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint.
∎ Attitude to support the staff as mentor, coach etc.
Salary: Tk. 70000 (Monthly)
